Usually when I get home from work Addy is a happy camper.  She’s just been fed and is still on that “milk high.”  So, I scoop her up in my arms, walk her around the house looking out all the different windows, then lay her down on the couch and “talk” to her.  Today she was in an especially chatty mood.  I think she was describing the exciting day she and her mom had.  I hear they even went for a walk around the block.  I love that she’s started cooing and smiling.  Kayla did a great job at catching some of Addy’s expressions while I conversed with her.

The way Kayla naturally picks up on how to be a Mom never ceases to amaze me.  While I’m fumbling around with blankets, diapers, and bottles, she handles every situation with beauty, grace, patience, and love.  Addy and I are the luckiest people on the planet.

Look who finally decided to give her nursery a chance!  It only took 8 weeks.  🙂

Burgers at Ted’s, book browsing at Barnes and Noble, and a movie.  It went pretty well.  I think I’ll ask this blonde bombshell out for a second date.  🙂

Mommy and Daddy have a date night tonight.  How can we not miss this bundle of adorableness?

Grandma and Grandpa Williams came to visit us this past Sunday.  From the pictures below, you can tell Adalyn wasn’t hurting for attention.  🙂

Addy is 6 weeks old today!  To celebrate we thought we would spend our Saturday morning playing on the bed.  Prepare for a heart-splosion!
