Great Strides

This year Great Strides Atlanta helped raise $1,660,000.00!!!  A record breaking year.  A HUGE thank you to all of you who donated in Adalyn’s honor.  It means the world to our family and the thousands of other people with Cystic Fibrosis.  Adalyn’s reaction to the number:

Catch Up

So it feels like forever since I’ve posted something on the ‘ol blog.  Things have been crazy around here, I’ve barley even taken a single picture, and I’m starting to have withdrawals.  🙁  Hopefully, after this weekend, life will get back to something resembling normal.  Until then, here’s a few shots of Adalyn and Hunter (in the next post) I can share.  Oh, by the way, the Great Strides Walk is this weekend.  We would love it if you could come and join us.  Here’s a link with all the details.  We’ll have a nice tent to congregate under and there will be Jim and Nicks BBQ to eat.  Should be a great time!  We hope to see you there.

Solid Food Eater OMG

Yea, so this happened…  Our little Hunter is enjoying him some rice cereal and oatmeal.  Not to mention this little 6 month old has a few 12 month old outfits he’s starting to fit into?!  What do they put in that baby formula anyway?

Pa

Not so random things that come to mind when I remember my Grandfather:  The smell of saw dust, playing cards with the family till the wee hours of the morning, giving me a “look” over his glasses, his cool sense of humor, whittling away on a block of wood, a crab leg connoisseur, unbridled love for his wife and family.  Pa, you will be sorely missed. But your legacy will live on through a family that loves you deeply.
